Former 9NEWS Anchor/Reporter now freelancing

Former 9NEWS/Channel 20 Reporter Vicente Arenas is now a freelance reporter with FOX31.   He left 9NEWS After only a year in February.     There's no word on why he left KUSA.

    

Dominic Garcia comes back to anchor KCNC newscast

Dominic Garcia who left KCNC in 2013 to anchor in San Diego will return this summer to anchor the 5pm newscast with Karen Leigh & report on the 10pm newscast.  He will start sometime in July. Meanwhile, Jim Benemann has signed a new contract and will continue to anchor the 6,6:30 & 10pm newscasts.

Maya Rodriguez jumps to NBC NEWS.

Former 9NEWS & Channel 20 Reporter Maya Rodriguez has joined NBC News based out of there Miami bureau housed at WTVJ.   She will cover the southeastern U.S., Latin America & the Caribbean  for NBC News and will report on all Platforms for NBC News. ( I.E. NBC News, CNBC, MSNBC, NBCNews.com, ect)
