FOX31 is updating it's news set, newscasts to be done from the KWGN set until updates finished.

FOX 31 is building a new news set, beginning today May 31, 2022 KDVR newscasts will be anchored from the KWGN set until the new set for FOX is completed.   There last set was done by Broadcast Design International and debuted in spring 2019.    No word yet on who the new set's designer is but we'll keep everyone posted as we learn more.  

For now this appears to be just a set update only for KDVR.

And the Exit Parade continues at FOX31 & Colorado's Own Channel 2---Sports director Nick Griffith has left the Denver duopoly.

And the exit parade continues at FOX31 & Colorado's Own channel 2.....

FOX31 Sports director Nick Griffith has left KDVR/KFCT & KWGN after 11 years with the Denver duopoly.  Nick is one of many on air reporters that have left the FOX & CW stations since January.   Nick left so he can spend more time with his family.     His last day on the air was Monday May 16, 2021.

Reporter Rachel Skytta is leaving KDVR/KFCT & KWGN.

Reporter, Rachel Skytta is leaving FOX31 & Colorado's Own Channel 2 after 3 years at the Duopoly. 

She joined the stations in 2019 as a multimedia journalist & reporter.  She joined KDVR & KWGN from Wichita, KS.  She is leaving the TV business all together to spend more time with family & to travel. 

She and her husband are joining the Van life and plan on traveling.

Jim Benemann will Retire from KCNC---CBS4 at the end of the year.

 Yesterday it was announced that longtime CBS4 anchor Jim Benemann will retire from KCNC at the end of the year.  He has been on the air 44 years, much of that in Denver with stints at KCNC, & KUSA.  He also worked at KGW in Portland, OR for a time.    He rejoined CBS4 in 2002, prior to that he was at KUSA from 1996-2002.

Michael Konopasek is leaving KDVR/KFCT & KWGN after 6 years.

FOX 31 Reporter Michael Konopasek is leaving KDVR/KFCT & KWGN after 6 years at the duopoly, he will become a corporate communications manager at Denver based Frontier Airlines.  He leaves the stations on May 23rd.   He previously worked at KWTV the CBS station in Oklahoma City  & KING-TV/KONG-TV the NBC & Independent duopoly in Seattle before joining FOX31 & Colorado's Own Channel 2.

FOX21 New Logo

FOX21 NEWS--KXRM TV has launched a new logo and possibly new graphics.  The updated look appears to have started on air around the last week of April.    They have also updated to the latest nexstar web platform.

KXRM is owned by Nexstar Media the owners of KDVR/KFCT & KWGN in Denver.
