Heidi Hemmat Quits KDVR.

FOX31 investigative reporter Heidi Hemmat has quit TV news after receiving death threats from a local business owner who caught her dumpster diving, she worked a 4 part investigation that ended up getting charges of consumer fraud against the guy.   Her boss provided security at her home for a few days but expressed concern about how much that was costing & downplayed the threat  “he’s not going to do anything to you,” she said, “if he was going to kill you he would have done it by now.” And from that point forward, there was no more station provided security.
