Denver TV Station KDVR--FOX31 will become part of a divestiture bid that Sinclair has proposed to allow it's merger with Tribune to go through. It will be among 23 stations that Sinclair will spin off to gain federal approval.
Standard Media Group, LLC will pick up some stations. Meridth Group will pick up some stations. Howard Stirk Communications will gain a few. Cunningham Broadcasting Corp will get some stations and of course FOX Television Stations, Inc will get some stations. (Cunningham Broadcasting Corp has loose ties with Sinclair Broadcasting)

Erika Rodriguez has been promoted to 4pm anchor on Colorado's own Channel 2 News, and will continue to anchor the 11pm newscast on Channel 2.

FOX 21 Hires a new weekend sports anchor.
FOX21 Has hired a new weekend sports reporter, her name is Julia Maguire. Julia comes to KXRM from KREX 5 News, in Grand Junction, where she was a sports reporter & anchor. She starts at FOX 21 this week (her first day was April 11th). KXRM & KREX Are sister stations, both owned by Nexstar Media Group.
