Reporter Andrew Haubner has joined CBS News Colorado / KCNC, he joined in late May 2024 as a general assignment reporter. He comes to CBS News Colorado from KEZI TV, the ABC station in Eugene Oregon where he was a sports anchor, prior to Oregon he was a reporter up in Wyoming at KTWO the ABC station in Casper.

Colorado's Own Channel 2 anchor Katie Orth has left KWGN & KDVR/KFCT. Her last day was May 31st, she is moving back to Texas to be closer to family.
She had been with Colorado's Own Channel 2 & FOX31 for 3 years. She joined KWGN on May 12, 2022.

KCNC, CBS NEWS COLORADO has been doing newscasts from a temporary studio in preparation for it's new set, designed by Jack Morton Worldwide. The new set will launch Tomorrow June 11, 2024.
Here is a little bit of a sneak peak. The news desk seems larger from this picture and the set has wrap around lighting near the ceiling of the studio, it is also darker than what most viewers are used to from cbs news Colorado.
We'll see more tomorrow as they show it off.

KCNC / CBS NEWS Colorado, who has been on a temporary set since late March is set to debut it's updated studio and new news set sometime next week.
KCNC's current set has been in use since Spring of 2013.

This kind of reminds me of the former 24/7 News & Weather channel called 24/7 News Channel that Denver7 used to run on Comcast between 2004-2015 on digital channel 247, before it became the Laff Network a partnership between ABC & Scrips broadcasting.

Meteorologist Chevy Chevalier has joined KRDO News Channel 13 in Colorado Springs / Pueblo. He started May 30, 2024, he comes to News Channel 13 from KHON 2 the FOX & CW Duopoly in Honolulu where he was the morning Meteorologist. Prior to KHON-TV he was a Meteorologist for NOAA's National Weather Service forecast office in Honloulu for 8 years..
