Anchor Tony Keith is leaving KKTV11 the CBS station in Colorado Springs / Pueblo, today is his last day on the air. He is moving on from TV, but staying in the Colorado Springs area.
He joined KKTV in November 2016 from KGWN TV in Cheyenne WY the CBS station there.

Reporter Amanda Gilbert has joined 9NEWS & Channel 20 as the 9NEWS Northern Newsroom reporter based in Ft. Collins her first day on air was yesterday (Monday November 25th). She comes to 9NEWS & Channel 20 from KUTV (CBS2 News) in Salt Lake City, UT.
She was a general assignment reporter in Salt Lake City where she covered high profile court cases, she was with KUTV for 2 years before landing here in Denver.

Sports reporter Chris Taverez has joined 9NEWS Sports as a reporter, he comes to 9NEWS & Channel 20 from KTXL in Sacramento / Modesto where he was the sports director, covering the Kings & 49ers, Warriors & other bay area sports happenings. Prior to KTXL FOX 40, he was at KXAN/NBC 36 & duopoly KBVO the My Network TV affiliate in Austin TX for a decade covering sports.

Reporter Colton Chavez has joined 9NEWS & Channel 20 as a reporter, he will be seen across all 9news casts. He started at 9NEWS in early October.
Colton joins 9NEWS & Channel 20, from WFTX FOX4 in Ft. Myers, FL where he was a general assignment reporter for the last 3 years.
He grew up in Denver so this is sort of a homecoming for him.

Former KMGH & KCNC reporter Cynthia Hessin has passed away according to KMGH. She passed away Friday (Nov 22nd) after a long battle with cancer, she was 73. Anyone who watched Denver 7 or CBS News Colorado (then Called "Newscenter4" or "NEWS4") in the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s saw her work.
She started her news career in radio at KBOL in Boulder before joining KCNC from 1979--1984, she then moved to KMGH for 11 years before leaving in 1995.

9NEWS Reporter Kelly Reinke has left 9NEWS & Channel 20. Her last day on the air was yesterday, she joined 9NEWS & Channel 20 in March of 2021 from WTTV & WXIN in Indianapolis where she spent 2 years.
She is stepping away from TV journalism for a while, as they like to say in the business "Stay Tuned".
