Meteorologist Chris Spears has joined 9NEWS & Channel 20, on the 9NEWS Weather Impact Team.
He will most often be seen on the weekend newscasts. Before 9NEWS & Channel 20 he was a Meteorologist for several years on CBS NEWS Colorado. He left KCNC in September 2022.
He also owns his own small business, 2 gift shops in Olde town Arvada.

Ed Greene retired from 9NEWS & Channel 20 this morning after 47 years in Denver TV, longer than anyone else in Denver TV history. He has had stints at all of the major stations in Denver..
He started off at KMGH in the booth announcer position and 1 day a week weather, then went to KCNC from the early 1980s to 1996, then to 9NEWS from 1996--2001, then back to KCNC from 2001--2017, then "Retired" until 9NEWS came calling in February 2021 for a temporary gig, where he has been doing the morning forecast for the last 4 years on Mile High Mornings.

KMGH--Denver7 started broadcasting news from it's new state of the art facility as of the 5PM newscast today. They moved from there longtime facility at 123 East Speer Boulevard to a new studio at 2323 Delgany Street in the five points neighborhood of Denver, this move also included KCDO-Local3. They started transmitting ABC programing from the Delgany studios at 7AM Monday morning with Good Morning America & KCDO programing moved over to the new facility at 9AM Monday morning.
The new studios are a former we-work building on Delgany street, they have been working on this building for months getting it ready for today. For 70+ years they broadcast from the studios at Speer & Lincoln in Denver, across the river from FOX31 & Channel 2, and down the street from 9NEWS & Channel 20. The new studios are much larger than what they had on East Speer, with a larger newsroom space and larger studio space as well.

Sports reporter Arielle Orsuto is leaving 9NEWS & Channel 20 after this week, according to an announcement on her facebook page. She goes on to say she will reveal her next plans sometime this upcoming week. She has been with 9NEWS & Channel 20 for 5 years.
