Ed Greene retired from 9NEWS & Channel 20 this morning after 47 years in Denver TV, longer than anyone else in Denver TV history. He has had stints at all of the major stations in Denver..
He started off at KMGH in the booth announcer position and 1 day a week weather, then went to KCNC from the early 1980s to 1996, then to 9NEWS from 1996--2001, then back to KCNC from 2001--2017, then "Retired" until 9NEWS came calling in February 2021 for a temporary gig, where he has been doing the morning forecast for the last 4 years on Mile High Mornings.
Ed good luck with your retirement, you will be missed on TV.
