Jordan Chavez is joining KMGH & KCDO effective in August.

Anchor Jordan Chavez is joining Denver7 & The Spot Denver3 effective August 3rd, he previously worked at 9NEWS & Channel 20. 

He left 9NEWS & Channel 20 on January 9th after 9 years at the Denver duopoly.

Over the past few years other KUSA/KTVD alumni have joined Denver 7 & The Spot Local 3, they include:

KMGH, KCDO, KZCO-LP, & KOAA have returned to DirecTV.

After 40 days off, Scrips stations returned to DirecTV systems early this morning, Scrips and DirecTV were able to work out a new re-transmission agreement allowing the stations to return to the sat caster.

In Colorado that means: KMGH, KCDO,KZCO-LD & KOAA have now returned to DirecTV.  Scrips was also recently in a dispute with Comcast over retransmission fees.
