Ernie Bjorkman is returning to the Denver TV
airwaves on March 27th to anchor channel 2's "Day Break", Ernie will
succeed Tom Green after Mr. Green intended not to renew his contract with the
station, he will anchor alongside Natalie Tysdal
“Tom has been in the morning anchor chair on
Channel 2 for so long, it just felt like we needed to replace him with someone
who understands the Denver market and the rich history of KWGN,” News Director
Holly Gauntt said. He is under a 3year contract with
the station. Until he starts on Day Break he will do some reporting on what's
changed since he left TV.
Ernie has worked for both KMGH & KWGN in the
past.
