FCC Pauses it's review of Tribune/Sinclair merger.

The F.C.C. has paused it's review of two Denver TV Station's parent company's merger with Sinclair Broadcast Group for 15 days, after several groups filed opposition to the merger.  Some of the groups that oppose the merger are Douglas County based DISH Network, a trade group for Alaphabet-Google's parent company, Amazon, NewsMax group, Glenn Beck's "THE BLAZE" & many others.

Sinclair's proposed $3.9 billion deal was on day 104 of a 180-day process used by the FCC.

The deal would "cripple" a free and diverse press according to Newsmax.
