Veteran Anchor David Nancarrow is leaving KKTV 11 News and broadcast news. He has announced he will become director of communications for Falcon School District 49. He begins his job with the school district January 22, 2018. His last day on the air is January 19, 2018.
“We really hate to lose Dave but it’s a great opportunity for him,” said
KKTV general manager Nick Matesi. "He’s been a crucial part of what we
do for 15 years and has been a part of every big story since then. From
Waldo Canyon to his trip to Iraq with Fort Carson soldiers, Dave has
taken on every assignment with 100 percent and then some
professionalism. He started at KKTV the same week I did so Dave and I go
way back. I have the utmost respect for the work he’s done for us and
will always be grateful.”
