Former 9NEWS Anchor John Rayburn has passed away, he passed away Sunday in Greeley at the age of 96. John was at 9NEWS in the 1970s and worked at all 3 network affiliates in Denver, from 1959-1963 he was at KCNC NBC (then KOA-TV), from 1963-1970 at KMGH CBS (then KLZ-TV) & KUSA ABC (then KBTV), before retiring from TV in the early 1980s.
He then did some radio work up until his death.
