9NEWS Anchor & Reporter Lauren Scafidi is leaving KUSA & KTVD, her final news cast will be Sunday Morning, she has been with the Denver duopoly since Labor Day weekend of 2023. She is leaving Denver for a new opportunity, we will find out on Sunday and update this post at that time.
UPDATE: Lauren is headed off to her home town of Chicago (The 3rd largest DMA in the country), a big jump from Denver (The 17th largest DMA), we don't yet know what station she will be working for there but we'll keep an eye out and update this post again.
Chicago has some major opportunities, 4 network owned stations NBC, ABC, CBS & FOX all own their stations in Chicago.
